About Eastport Health Care, Inc.
Eastport Health Care aspires to meet a full spectrum of health needs in rural Maine with innovative, affordable treatment. Leading through listening, learning through partnership, and serving through collaboration make us agents of change for better health outcomes in Washington County.
Proper healthcare has been an integral part of the lives of our nation's people. For many individuals however, quality care is not readily available due to economic as well as geographic barriers. Personal financial resources or maldistribution of medical services should not limit patient access to proper comprehensive health care. The purpose of FQHC's (Federally Qualified Health Centers) in general and Eastport Health Care in particular is to assure that people dwelling in medically under-served areas are not denied adequate primary care.
Eastport Health Care provides low or no-cost health education and prevention programs which address areas of proven need in the community.
